VAASTU Tips FOR CHILDREN’S ROOM AND STUDY

We all have very high hopes from our children and always want to give them the best. They are not only the future of our country but also the apple of their parents’ eyes. The best gift for them would be to create a tension-free and non-stressful environment where they can breathe and work in peace and solace and handle the growing pressures of the competitive world around them. This can be made true by bestowing them with a Vaastu-perfect life.

To ensure a secure future for your children, it is very important to make their present surrounding harmonious and positive so that they can grow overall towards achieving their respective goals in life meritoriously. Here are a few do’s and don’ts which can alter their lives for a better tomorrow.
Children should never be given the south-western room of the house. This is the place for the head of the family and placing the children here would mean empowering them to dominate their elders and other family members.

  • Children should never be given the corner rooms of any direction. The best and most suitable positions for them are the western or the southern sides of the plot.
  • The East, North and the North-east create greater absorption power and help increase the knowledge of the little ones. Hence, the study room for your children should always be in one of these positions.
  • While studying, kids should face the East or the North as this will boost up their learning speed, improve memory and enhance their concentration power.
  • Books should never be kept in the north-east direction; instead they should be stored in the south-west, south or western sides.
  • Books should be kept in closed areas or shelves with glass panel doors, open book shelves are not advisable as they create too much of congestion in the mind of the students.
  • The study table should not be cluttered with books as it tends to create unnecessary pressure on the minds of the children.
  • There should be images of Lord Ganesha and MaaSaraswati in the study room.
  • Kids, while resting their heads on the pillow at night, should lie in the south direction. This would help maintain the magnetic balance of the body with that of the earth.
  • The study table should not rest against a wall. While sitting and studying, the child should have a solid wall behind his back.
  • The study table and the chair should not face the door when the child is studying.
  • The study area should be well lit up and spread over all corners. However, avoid placing a focus light or spot light on the child or the table as this would heighten the mental pressure and strain for him.
  • You can place a quartz crystal rock in the south-west corner of the study room. This stone has healing properties and can energize the environment in the room with positive vibrations by sucking up all the negativities present there.
  • To increase the concentration of the child, you can place an Amethyst crystal on the study table.
  • A pyramid can also be placed on the table or desk for enhancing the concentration and memory of the child.
